About
Overview
Saddle stitching is the classic, cost-effective booklet binding: folded sheets are nested together and stapled twice along the spine. It lies reasonably flat, adds no bulk, and is ideal for catalogues, event programs, menus, zines, lookbooks and short reports.
Choose a light text stock for the inner pages and a heavier cover for a premium feel, or keep costs down with a self-cover (same stock throughout). Add a gloss or matt laminate to the cover for durability and a polished finish.
Every booklet is proofed by a real person before printing, and produced in Melbourne on our digital presses for fast turnaround.

FAQs
How many pages can a saddle stitched booklet have?
From 4 up to 64 pages, always in multiples of 4 (each folded sheet is 4 pages). For higher page counts, choose perfect binding or Wire-O.
What's the difference between self-cover and a separate cover?
A self-cover prints the cover on the same stock as the inner pages — lighter and cheaper. A separate cover uses a heavier stock (250–300gsm) for a sturdier, more premium result, and can be laminated.
Can I get a custom quantity?
Yes — enter any quantity and we price it live. The standard breaks (10–1000) are just quick picks.
